Primary Responsibilities Responsible for the day-to-day management and welfare of grounding products at each stage of the product lifecycle. The Product Manager works with other departments to maximize the product’s market position and financial return over its life cycle.
Principle duties and responsibilities Developing and implementing business and marketing plans; creating and communicating brand message. Achieving product line sales and profit contribution goals. Marketing and sales promotion of product line; commercializing product line extensions. Sales forecasting and inventory management. Monitoring and reporting on market / industry trends and competitive activity.
Education MBA
Experience 3 to 5 years experience in product management in the electrical industry or similar.
Communication Sourcing: Specification and sourcing of targeted product line expansion. Engineering: Product improvement, cost reduction, certifications, etc. Planning: Sales forecasting and inventory management. Sales: Sales forecasting, market research & product support. Manufacturing: Product improvement, cost reduction, planning, etc.
Knowledge and skills Ability to communicate effectively with customer, associates and management. Ability to be a self starter and detail oriented. Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs. Knowledge of the electrical market, codes, competitors and suppliers is desired.
